If you join us on a Sunday, you’ll find a mixed bag of people.  Most of us have a Christian faith, but some of us are still exploring.  Regulars and visitors come bringing their questions, objections, struggles, doubts and encouragements.

Through the service, children’s ministry, question times and over coffee we look to create opportunities for people to engage in ways that will help them.

We'd love you to join us when we meet on Sunday mornings at 11 a.m.

The church building is at the White Hart Lane end of Wolves Lane (nearer to Wood Green), close to the allotments.  Services begin at 11am, but from about 10.30am the musicians will be practicing and different groups of people will be gathering to pray or chat or prepare the children’s activities.  There are always people at hand to welcome visitors, give you a service sheet (which has everything you need on it), introduce you to someone, or show you to a coffee or a seat.

What can you expect from a Sunday morning?

Church isn’t all about Sundays, but our Sunday services are an important part of our life together.

We do our best to make Sundays accessible to everyone and anyone. Whether you have never been to a church service before, or have some kind of church background, we hope you will be able to engage and participate.

Services themselves have fairly relaxed ‘family’ feel. Despite the informality, we’re serious about what we’re doing when we meet together.  We gather to encourage each other through music and prayer, and to hear and respond to the Bible read and preached.  We’re convinced that where the Bible is taught with thought, love, and prayer, God's voice is heard in a way that is relevant and life-changing.

Children’s activities (for toddlers upwards) run in side rooms, beginning about 15 minutes into the service.  Services last about an hour and a quarter (slightly longer on the first Sunday of the month when we share communion).

After the service

After the service, there’s time over coffee and snacks to meet and catch up with people, and the chance to talk some more about the Bible teaching we’ve just had (for those who want to).

Our morning service lasts a little over one hour.  We aim for the first 10-15 minutes to be family friendly, after which the children head out for their own activities and teaching.

Our pattern is to have communion on the first Sunday of the month.  These services have a slightly more traditional feel (we use the organ rather than the band), and last about 10 minutes longer.
